Belgian giants Genk have reached an agreement with Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah to sign highly-rated Ghanaian striker Jerry Afriyie on a permanent transfer.
The 19-year-old forward is set to sign a five-year contract with Genk, bringing his brief spell in Saudi Arabia to an end and marking his return to Belgian football following an impressive loan campaign with RAAL La Louvière.
Afriyie returned to Al Qadsiah at the end of last season after making a strong impression during his 10-month loan spell in Belgium. His performances quickly attracted interest from several Belgian clubs, with Genk ultimately winning the race for his signature.
The Ghana international made 31 appearances across all competitions for La Louvière, playing 2,497 minutes, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
