Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC (Yanga) have been handed a new FIFA registration ban, restricting the club from signing and registering new players.
The sanction officially came into effect on 5 August 2026 and will prevent Yanga from registering new players for three consecutive transfer windows.
The latest FIFA decision presents a challenge for the club as they continue their squad planning and preparations for upcoming domestic and continental competitions.
Yanga will now have to work within the restrictions imposed by FIFA until the ban period is completed or any possible resolution is reached.
