The CAF Appeals Committee has overturned the sanctions previously imposed on Samuel Eto’o, President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
Eto’o had been handed a four-match stadium ban and a $20,000 fine after being found guilty by the CAF Disciplinary Committee.
However, following an appeal, CAF’s Appeals Committee has now cancelled the punishments with immediate effect, clearing the former Cameroon international of the sanctions.
FECAFOOT has welcomed the decision, stating that it reflects the independence, fairness, and credibility of CAF’s legal bodies
